I am a dispute resolution partner at gunnercooke LLP which I joined in 2014, a CEDR accredited civil and commercial mediator and a registered mediator with the Civil Mediation Council. I bring to my practice as a mediator my wide-ranging experience and perspective as a dispute resolution solicitor for over 30 years.
My role as a mediator is not to decide who is right and who is wrong. Nor is it to decide if parties to a dispute should settle, or on what terms they should settle; those decisions are for the parties alone. Rather, my role is to work with the parties to overcome any barriers that are hampering them from reaching a settlement.
